The weather that I give in the mornings is from
a number of weather sites including Yahoo, Underground weather and
NOAA. I summarize that weather including information that I get
from a variety of resources including the areas virtual buoys, the
grib files, qscatt wind images, personal weather stations, and a
number of satellites that I bring up including the Navy &
National Hurricane Service during the season. With all these wonderful tool, sometimes I'm
wrong. The Sea of
Cortez has many mini climates and the proximity of coastal
mountains and other factors can cause great differences in wind
conditions within short distances. And sometimes these remote
weather services I bring up give something that looks like it came
from Mars. And
sometime my evil twin brother Larry does the
weather . SO, It's always best to use sailor
intuition and good judgment. |
